Thanks to a 1" sensor that is larger than average for actioncams and accommodates a lower resolution than usual, the Aurora Sport camera should also produce usable videos at night. But only in 720p with a maximum of 60 frames per second. However, it shouldn't be completely dusky, starry with not completely new moon the American manufacturer SiOnyx indicates as a prerequisite for the night shots.
The optics are also quite bright with F1.4. Due to the larger sensor, the Actioncam is a bit more voluminous; it weighs about 230g and also has a small Micro OLED viewfinder. Via WLAN and an app (iOS / Android) you can watch a preview picture on your smartphone. The camera is waterproof (protection class IP67), one battery charge should suffice for two hours of operation.
However, the Aurora Sport is only available on the US manufacturer's website. In addition to the retail price of 399 dollars, shipping and customs fees would be added for an order from Europe that would not yet be negligible.
