With cameras like ARRI ALEXA Mini, RED always, Sony FS5/7 and others 
the batteries have also been shrinking for some time. Now the German battery manufacturer BEBOP has also added the smallest V-Mount batteries on the market with the new BEBOB Vmicro batteries.
The new BEBOP Vmicro batteries are available in capacities of 43 WH (V45MICRO), 98 WH (V98MICRO) and 147 WH (V150MICRO) and feature a power handling capacity of 10 amps. The dimensions and weights are 75 x 101 x 32mm - weight: 0,45Kg, 75 x 101 x 48mm - weight: 0,63Kg and 75 x 101 x 65mm - weight: 0,83Kg. All batteries are equipped with Twist DTap and USB connectors and can handle ARRI, RED and SONY camera protocols for a corresponding residual level display.
Remarkable about the new Vmicro batteries from BEBOP is their low weight. For comparison: The Anton Bauer Cine 90 weighs 1 kg, the V98Micro is specified by Bebop as 0.63 kg. Let's hope that the low weight of the Bebop batteries does not come at the expense of robustness.
