The new 27" (69.58 cm) FullHD HDR monitor EW277HDR with a 16:9 format VA panel from BenQ promises a contrast of 3,000:1 and a 93% coverage of the extended DCI-P3 color space (the Rec. 709 is 100% supported). The Hoty Key button allows you to select between four different HDR modes. HDR is supported according to the 10 standard. Its viewing angle is the usual 178° horizontal and vertical.
Its peak brightness of 400 cd/m² is only slightly higher than most non-HDR monitors, which usually have a brightness of 350 cd/m² - in normal operation the brightness of the BenQ EW277HDR is only 300 nits. The BenQ EW277HDR has two HDMI and one D-Sub interface, headphone output and audio input. Using Brightness Intelligence Plus technology, the monitor adjusts its image settings to match the brightness and color temperature of its surroundings.
