BenQ&s new 27-inch PD2700U features an UltraHD (3.840 x 2,160) IPS panel with 10-bit color depth that 100% covers the sRGB and Rec. 709 color space and is factory calibrated to meet important minimum requirements for color-accurate video work.
The PD2700U supports HDR according to the HDR10 standard and HDR10 and has a brightness of slightly above average 350 cd/m² (or seem to wrap 350 nits into the new minimum standard for monitors). The BenQ PD2700U features an HDMI 2.0, a DisplayPort 1.4, a mini DisplayPort 1.4 and an MST (Multi-Stream transport Technology) DisplayPort output for dual monitor applications via daisy chain, for which the PD2700U is suitable due to its small bezel.
For CAD/CAM work, the PD2700U has some special working modes such as darkroom and animation modes. Dual View mode allows designers to view their work in different color modes simultaneously side by side. The display can be adjusted up to 140 mm in height, tilted 45° to the left and right, tilted -5° to +20° and rotated up to 90° (pivot).
Ergonomic eye protection features include flicker-free, Low Blue Light and Brightness Intelligence technology for a relaxed working experience even on long working days. BenQ offers a three-year warranty for the PD2700U and all PD models in the DesignVue series, including on-site replacement service. The monitor is now available from 523 Euro.
