At the end of September, OpenAI introduced
![]() Microsoft, as one of the biggest backers of OpenAI, is now not letting itself down and, as in the past, has made the new image generator available to all users free of charge since the day before yesterday. The Bing Image Creator is still in an open beta preview phase, but only requires an active Microsoft account (which since recently almost every Windows user should have automatically). In order to regulate access according to scarce computing power resources, every user receives so-called boosts, with which images can be calculated particularly quickly. Currently, you get 100 boosts at the start. It has not yet been clearly communicated after how long these will be replenished. Once the Boosts are out, additional Boosts can be "bought" with so-called Microsoft Rewards. These rewards can be "earned" by different behaviors at Microsoft. For example, you can earn them for actively using the Bing search. Do even completely without Boosts one can let calculate his pictures with less resources slowly and receives a notification by mail if the pictures are ready. ![]() Per prompt, the Bing Image Creator calculates four images in 1024 x 1024 pixel format, whereby there are (still?) no further intervention options via the interface - for example, to change the output aspect ratio. Also useful functions like negative prompting are not documented yet. OpenAI has again integrated numerous mechanisms to prevent abuse (such as copyright, sexism, propaganda or disinformation). Therefore, many prompts (e.g. with celebrities or brand names in the text) are not created. ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: Bing Image Creator - Microsoft bietet kostenlosen Zugang zu DALL-E 3 |
