Two smaller pieces of news from Blackmagic probably didn't make it to NAB 2023 in time - which is why Blackmagic is passing them along today (without a press release of their own about it):
There is a new DeckLink 8K Pro Mini. This model is a "small" low-profile PCIe card that is technically supposed to be completely equivalent to the DeckLink 8K Pro. So you'll find Quad Link 12G-SDI for many SD, HD, Ultra HD, 4K DCI, 8K and 8K DCI formats here as well. Nothing has changed in the interface to the slot either, it remains PCIe Gen 3 with 8 lanes.

Due to the smaller board dimensions, "Micro BNC connectors" are used instead of standard BNC connectors, which are much more compact. The price, however, has not shrunk compared to its big sister. The DeckLink 8K Pro Mini is currently listed at 759 Euro, while the normal DeckLink 8K Pro has a recommended retail price of 745 Euro.
There is also a small firmware update for the Blackmagic Video Assist 5" 12G HDR monitor recorders. With the new version 3.13, both the 5 inch and 7 inch models now support Blackmagic RAW recording from a Fujifilm GFX100 II.
