Blackmagic has released several updates for its cameras, the Studio Fiber Converter, the editing, color grading, compositing and sound editing program DaVinci Resolve, the Blackmagic RAW Codec and the monitor-recorder combo Video Assist 12G - central to the latter is the new support of 100/119.88 fps BRAW recording of Video Assist 12G with Sigma fp cameras.
Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve
The DaVinci Resolve 16.2.6 (Studio) Update brings support for Blackmagic RAW 1.8.1 (see below), the new FCPXML version 1.9 introduced in Final Cut Pro 10.4.9 and (as always) general performance and stability improvements.
Blackmagics Video Assist 12G HDR gets with the 3.2.3 update the ability to record videos with frame rates of 100 and 119.88 fps in combination with the Sigma fp camera.
The update also corrects an error that occurred during trigger recording in Blackmagic RAW, see our test of Video Assist 12G. The Blackmagic RAW 1.8.1 Update provides improved support for these Blackmagic RAW clips produced by Blackmagic Video Assist 12G HDR with Sigma fp cameras.

Blackmagic Camera 6.9.6 Update
The Blackmagic Camera 6.9.6 update fixes problems of the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and 6K with some Bluetooth commands and brings some new features to the fiber converter Studio Fiber Converter, such as an improved selection of audio output channels, an extension of the devices with the possibility to adjust the monitoring sound for Intercom 1 and 2 and to activate phantom power. Also new is support for mixing Level A and B for fed back program down-converted from 12G. Synchronization can now be set to bi-level reference signals and the accuracy of reference signal timing and stability over SMPTE fiber has been improved.
