Blackmagic has introduced two new units in its ATEM series for live production, the ATEM Mini Pro ISO live production mixer and the ATEM Streaming Bridge converter. The major innovation of the ATEM Mini Pro ISO Mixer compared to the previous ATEM live mixers is the ability to record up to five live streams externally in real time via USB-C to SSD/HDD as H.264 file for later editing. The streams of all HDMI inputs and the final output stream can be recorded as ISO.

The ATEM Mini Pro ISO is otherwise similar in its capabilities to the other ATEM mixers and enables professional multi-camera productions for live streaming on YouTube or for business presentations via Skype or zoom. Users can switch live between four HDMI video camera sources (or even computers for PowerPoint presentations, for example) and also use the internal DVE processor to display live picture-in-picture effects or graphics. In addition, the integrated ATEM Advanced Chroma Keyer can be used to key classic blue and green screen recordings. The video of all HDMI inputs is automatically standard converted and re-synchronized. The resulting video can be output via USB (the output is then recognized as a webcam) to a computer, from where it can be streamed e.g. with appropriate (live streaming) software. ![]() Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro ISO interfaces Its HDMI output can be used to output both individual HDMI and program feeds. When mixing in Program/Preview mode, a preview (including a full-screen MultiView view) can also be displayed. Audio can also be recorded via two analogue microphone inputs and delayed by up to 8 frames to avoid asynchronicity with the video. The audio mixer supports functions such as limiter, compressor, 6-band EQ and more. Its control panel provides clear buttons for source selection, audio input adjustment, video effects and transitions selection, recording and streaming settings buttons, as well as buttons for selecting signal output and switching video output between cameras, program and multiviewer. Alternatively, the mixer can be operated by computer and the ATEM Software Control, which provides access to each mixer function. The user interface is visually similar to a mixer and adjustments can be made via menu palettes. The computer can be connected via USB or optionally via Ethernet, in which case multiple users can access the mixer from different computers via ATEM Software Control. The ATEM Mini Pro ISO is available immediately at Blackmagic Design dealers worldwide at a price of about 1,000 Euro. ATEM Streaming Bridge In addition to the ATEM Mini Pro ISO, Blackmagic Design has also announced the ATEM Streaming Bridge, a converter that decodes the H.264 livestream from any ATEM Mini Pro mixer and converts it back to SDI and HDMI video. Broadcasters will be able to "plug in" directly to high quality video streams produced anywhere in the world using ATEM Mini Pro. The ATEM Streaming Bridge is expected to be launched in August at a price of . ![]() ATEM Streaming Bridge ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro ISO: Livemixer mit Multirecording-Funktion |
