Blackmagic Camera App 1.2 available for Android

We had already presented the Android version of the Blackmagic Camera app on slashCam here in June, which primarily supported the Google Pixel 7-8 and various Samsung S23 and S24 models. With the new version 1.2, the Google Pixel 9, 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL smartphones are now also supported.

Here is the list of new features for version 1.2 of the Blackmagic Camera App, which is available for free download in the Google Play App Store:

- Support for Google Pixel 9, 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL.
- Fixed a stability issue when playing games.
- Fixed a clip alignment issue with the mirroring front camera
- Fixed a problem with the display of numbers or LUT symbols
- Fixed an issue with screen size detection on OnePlus 12.
- Fixed stability issues with Xiaomi 14.
- Fixed an issue with displaying a duplicate clip after recording.
- General performance and stability improvements.
