Only one week ago there was an eighth beta update, now Blackmagic has released the final version of DaVinci Resolve 15. As before, there is a free version with many elementary features, as well as the studio full version for 299 Euro, which has now also become a compositing system through the integration of Fusion. The release of the final version should now also signal that the entire package can also be used safely for production purposes.
Now that the audio functions have also grown considerably as a result of Fairlight, one can ask oneself what enhancements might be in store in the future. We think that Blackmagic as well as many other manufacturers will certainly deal with AI-automatics. Now that both the Pocket and Resolve 15 are out of the bag, we wonder whether Blackmagic has saved one or two surprises for the IBC.
