Two weeks after the beta 6 of DaVinci Resolve 16 Blackmagic brings a new beta version, which due to the release candidate status (the beta logo is also no longer displayed) only brings selective improvements and bug fixes, which can of course be enormously important for the individual work.
The playback performance in the edit and cut workspaces has been improved when using capture and playback cards like the Blackmagic DeckLink and UltraStudio as well as the support for decoding embedded AIFF content in AAF timelines. In addition, the synchronization of multiple camera perspectives using audio waveforms is now more reliable, and the behavior of still image storage and working with color qualifiers in clips with OpenFX and ResolveFX has been optimized. In addition, the correct channel count in AAC and QuickTime clips is now detected and IMF packages are rendered with the correct audio metadata.
Fusion Studio 16 Public Beta 7 increases the reliability of paint tool overlays in the viewer and includes general stability improvements, including when opening large projects.
If you want to report feature requests for Resolve 17, you can do so in
