Blackmagic hat ein zweites Update für die neue
;) Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve 18 Wichtige Informationen zur Verwaltung der ProjektbibliothekDaVinci Resolve 18 erfordert ein Upgrade der Projektbibliothek von allen Versionen vor 18.0b5. Blackmagic empfiehlt dringend, die bestehende Datenbank zu sichern (sowohl DiskDB als auch PostgreSQL) und diese Datenbank dann für das Upgrade wiederherzustellen, bevor auf diese Version aktualisiert wird. Sobald die Projektbibliothek auf 18 aktualisiert ist, kann diese Bibliothek allerdings nicht mehr in früheren Versionen von DaVinci Resolve verwendet werden. Blackmagic hat zudem für seine Pocket Cinema Camera 6K, 6K G2 und 6K Pro Kameras eine  Liste mit empfohlenen CFast-Karten, SD-Karten und USB-C-Laufwerken bereitgestellt.
