Originally,
Blackmagic&s European Tour 2020 was supposed to offer various free training sessions on editing in DaVinci Resolve in over 35 cities from January to June, but the coronavirus thwarted this plan and all dates were cancelled.
Now Blackmagic has taken the logical next step and, in cooperation with TELTEC and creative tools, has turned the tour into a free online training course that anyone interested can take part in by zooming over the net. Two courses, each 2 hours long, will take place on July 15th, one on the topic "Introduction to Editing with DaVinci Resolve" as well as "Advanced Editing with DaVinci Resolve". They will be held by a certified DaVinci Resolve trainer and the participants will learn how to optimize their workflow using Blackmagic&s DaVinci Resolve and get tips and tricks for faster work with it.
Unfortunately the number of participants is limited to 40 persons per course and already fully booked. Interested users can, however, ask to be put on the waiting list to be contacted as soon as additional places or - which is to be hoped for given the probably very high demand - further dates are available.

Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve 16
Blackmagic had given its grading, VFX and sound editing program DaVinci Resolve a lot of editing functions and the "Cut" workspace with the new version 16 by means of a major update last year, thus finally turning it into an editing program.
With the European tour Blackmagic underlines its will to establish Resolve DaVinci in the hobby and professional segment as a serious alternative to the top dogs Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro - so far quite successfully, as you can see in our
last user survey, where it already takes second place.
