Simultaneously with the new version
16.3 Beta 2 of DaVinci Resolve Blackmagic has also released a new version of the free Blackmagic RAW plugins for Adobe Premiere (CC 2019 and later) and the Avid Media Composer 2019.
After the first beta version of Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K and Blackmagic Design Generation 5 Color Science, Macs have already been delighted with the support for the 12K BRAW files of the Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K and Blackmagic Design Generation 5 Color Science, Windows versions of the two BRAW plugins will follow, allowing editors to use Blackmagic RAW directly in Adobe Premiere and Media Composer without transcoding the videos first.
This way, the original Blackmagic RAW files can be used during an entire workflow without having to resort to proxy files. The plug-ins allow GPU and CPU accelerated work with BRAW files. When importing projects from Adobe Premiere Pro or Media Composer into DaVinci Resolve for color correction and finishing, all RAW metadata from the camera is included while maintaining image quality.
