In addition to the new
version of DaVinci Resolve 16.2 Blackmagic has released updates for its monitoring and recording solution Video Assist and the Blackmagic RAW format, which bring a number of new features and expand the number of supported devices.
The Blackmagic Video Assist Update 3.1 now brings support for recording in Blackmagic RAW with
Video Assist 12G HDR models when shooting with the Panasonic EVA1 and Canon C300 Mark II. It also allows embedding of camera metadata in recordings and improves the connection via HDMI to some cameras.

The Blackmagic RAW 1.7 update brings support for Blackmagic RAW files recorded with the Panasonic EVA1 and Canon EOS C300 Mark II camera models on a Blackmagic Video Assist 12G HDR. The update also improves the performance of the Blackmagic RAW Plug-in when used with Adobe Premiere Pro.
