Blackmagic releases numerous training videos for Resolve and Fusion 17

Blackmagic Design has long placed great emphasis on documentation and training for its video products. If you know English and can spare a few hours, you&ll now find a large fresh pool of videos on the latest version 17 of DaVinci Resolve and Fusion (including Fairlight).

The four focal points of the now 20 videos are Edit, Color, Fairlight and Fusion. Our random viewing gave us the impression that the speed of the courses is moderate and the overall quality and comprehensibility are high. There is also an optional download folder with the project files for each of the courses.

However, one can be divided about the fact that the videos are only available for download as zipped MP4 files. On the one hand, you are not bound to an online connection, on the other hand, a quick online cross-viewing is not possible. But that is of course complaining on a high level, especially since this horse is a gift.

very good training books.

With this wide range of teaching materials, Blackmagic Design obviously wants to make its own programs and applications palatable to beginners and newcomers. Nevertheless, we admire the effort put in, which not many manufacturers do nowadays. Especially since the first beta of Resolve 18 is probably just around the corner and then many tutorials will have to be adapted again...
