The updated Continuum 2023 plugin collection brings some improvements. A new addition is the BCC+Atmospheric Glow effect, which combines multiple light types to quickly add more dramatic mood to images. Flicker, lens effects, rays and smoke can be combined in different parameters. There are 10 new transitions included in the Transitions Unit, BCC+FilmRoll, BCC+SwishPan, BCC+SwishPrism, BCC+SwishGlow, BCC+SwishWarp, BCC+LinearWipe, BCC+RadialWipe, BCC+RectangleWipe, BCC+VignetteWipe and BCC+TextureWipe.

Particle Illusion has been reworked and is now said to compute and render up to 50% faster, depending on the operating system, hardware and project complexity. The interface has also been redesigned and the work with 3D models is said to have been optimized.a
Better performance can also be expected, it seems, with other filters and transitions in the Continuum Suite - all GPU-accelerated on Apple M1, Intel, NVIDIA and AMD GPUs - in some cases up to 50% better compared to previous versions.
A secondary glow option has been added to the BCC+FilmGlow effect, allowing multiple, independent glows to be applied. Title Studio now supports Blackmagic Resolve on Mac, while the BCC+Light effect has a new option for seamless textures including wrap and reflection properties.
Continuum 2023 is available for Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro, and OFX host applications such as Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve, Foundry Nuke, and VEGAS Pro (Mac/Win). Pricing varies Depending on host and licensing model - for example, Continuum 2022 costs as a perpetual license for Adobe, for FCP.
