CES: Sony camcorder FDR AXP33 - 4K with Balanced Optical SteadyShot

In the CES press release from Sony FDR AXP33 is represented as a small, shrunken sister of FDR AX100E. In fact she has with this, however, less common than with FullHD sisters from the consumer segment. The sensor of the FDR AXP33 only 1 / 2.3-inch large, which allows the use of the proven "Balanced Optical SteadyShot" module in turn. In this module, sensor and optics are similar to a Brushless Gimbal stored hung up, resulting in a very efficient image stabilization enabled. For this, the camera has a manual lens ring with side platziertem function header. Small detail: In a pre-production model it was not us determine manually at the same aperture and shutter speed. Like many other Sony consumer cameras also, the camera each complementary function always switches back to automatic mode, which did not make a full manual control of the FDR AXP33 possible. It seems still only half or full automatic to be possible.
