It offers three Thunderbolt 4/USB 4 ports (one with up to 98W of charging power for connected notebooks), three USB-C and five USB-A ports (all with USB 3.2 Gen 2 at 10 Gb/s each), a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, a DisplayPort 1.4, SD and a microSD 4.0 card reader, and three 3.5mm audio interfaces (combo in/out, out, in). ![]() CalDigit Thunderbolt Station 4 Interfaces Up to two external monitors via DisplayPort/USB-C.An external monitor can be connected either via DisplayPort or to one of the free Thunderbolt 4 ports. An HDMI monitor can be connected via DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter or USB-C-to-HDMI adapter. Whether one or two external monitors can be used on the TS4 depends on the computer used: Windows PCs with Thunderbolt 3 or 4 as well as M1 Pro, M1 Max or Intel-based Macs can connect up to two displays (2 x 4K at 60Hz or on the M1 Pro/Mac 2 x 6K at 60Hz), M1 Macs only one. ![]() CalDigit Thunderbolt Station 4 monitor support. According to CalDigit, the TS 4 is the dock with the most ports, the highest charging capabilities of any Thunderbolt 4 dock, and the first dock with 2.5GbE. One of the two USB-C ports mounted on the front of the Thunderbolt Station delivers 20W of charging power (enough for even most large tablets, for example), while all other USB jacks deliver 7.5W (for smartphones or other small USB devices).
