So, XL1s, XL2 not, as has been thought always called the successor of the famous XL1. Exterior has changed nothing inside but a few - the new true progressive scan mode (25/30 full frames per second) and maintaining the old CCD (270,000 pixels that generate per-pixel shift is a relatively "soft" picture) suggest then that the new version more in the direction of DV film look goes. Canon has greatly expanded the possibilities of including manual image control, the sensitivity was improved ausserem.
