The makers of analog look simulator FilmConvert and camera matching tool CineMatch have released new Camera Pack for iPhone 12 Pro. It allows to match its video footage to the typical look of other cameras.
§PIcC§
FilmConvert is a tool to emulate the look of analog footage as much as possible and brings special profiles for many cameras (including the ARRI Alexa, BMCC, DJI drone cameras, Canon 5D MKIII/XF300/C70/R, GoPro Hero, Nikon D800/D7000/Z 6, Panasonic GH2/GH3/GH4, RED Epic, the Sony A7R MK3/EX3/EX1/F55/FS700, and now the iPhone 12 Pro) so that the desired look of a particular footage (such as Kodak Vision 3) can be achieved. Kodak Vision 3, for example) can be optimally simulated. These camera profiles, called Camera Packs, can be downloaded from the website and then used in FilmConvert.

Sensor Match in CineMatch
The tool
CineMatch can convert footage from one log image style to another using the various camera profiles, thus matching footage from different cameras.
Thus SLog2/3, CLog, BRaw, V-Log/L, RED IPP2 and others can be matched and the correct REC.709 transformation can be applied with a click. In the next step, basic (color) settings can be made and then further refined via intelligent color picker.

In the following side-by-side comparison clip, the CineMatch team explores whether their tool can be used to make 10-bit HDR video footage from an iPhone 12 Pro look like that from an ARRI Alexa (
