For cameras with Super35 sensor, such as the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K or the Canon C300 Mark III, Meike brings the new 35mm T2.1 fixed focal length cine, which covers an image circle of 33.6mm and will be available for PL and EF mount. It will be the first lens in a new S35 series -- followed by an 18mm, 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, 75mm and 105mm, all with a T2.1.
The optical design comprises 12 elements in 10 groups. The closest focusing distance is 48cm, the focal length is 270°. The optics weigh 910g (PL) or 940g (EF) with a diameter of 80mm and a length of 98.5 (PL) or 106.5mm (EF). Filters with a diameter of 77mm can be attached.
The orifice consists of 11 lamellas. The lens rings for focus and aperture are equipped with gear rims in M0.8 standard.
The Meike Prime 35mm T2.1 for Super 35 costs 464.25 Euro and is expected to be available from 20.10.
