Laowa introduces what is said to be the most compact 2x macro lens for full-frame cameras - the 85mm f/5.6 2x Ultra Macro APO weighs just 259g. This is partly because the optics are not optimized for speed; the starting aperture is only f5.6. Since macro shots are often stopped down anyway, so that the depth of field is not too narrow, perhaps an understandable compromise. The dimensions are 53mm (diameter) × 81mm length (filter diameter 46mm). ![]() Laowa 85mm f/5.6 2x Ultra Macro APO The fully manual lens is designed for mirrorless cameras and appears for four mount versions Canon RF, Nikon Z, Sony FE, Leica M. The aperture consists of 7 blades. The optical construction includes 13 elements in 9 groups, including 3 ED elements, which are supposed to minimize color fringes or chromatic aberrations (apochromatic design). The minimum focusing distance is 16.3mm.
The Laowa 85mm f/5.6 2x Ultra Macro APO is expected to cost (except for the Leica version for ) and will be available in December. ![]() Laowa 85mm f/5.6 2x Ultra Macro APO with Canon R6 ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: Kompaktes 2x Makro-Objektiv: Laowa 85mm f/5.6 2x Ultra Macro APO vorgestellt |
