Those who already control their DJI Ronin-S / -SC including camera with their smartphone via Force Mobile and have access to a Sony PS4 DualShock or Microsoft Xbox Controller should be pleased about the latest firmware update. With this it is now also possible to make video recordings with a touch of gaming -- many recording parameters such as focus, zoom, mode change, etc. can be set via the controllers mentioned, and of course also quite intuitively the gimbal/camera movements. For the connection between Ronin and (Bluetooth-enabled) gaming controller a smartphone is required (iOS 13 or Android 9.0 or higher). The Ronin App v1.2.6 must also be installed.
Further new functions in the firmware update are the possibility to save the set focus motor parameters as well as a motionlapse option via photos in Active Track mode. The support of Nikon Z50 and Panasonic G95 cameras should be improved and the problems with focus control with cameras of the Canon EOS Series should be fixed. The firmware versions v1.3.0.20 (Ronin-SC) and V2.1.1.0 (Ronin-S) are already available and will be updated via the DJI Ronin App. Bilder zur Newsmeldung:
