DJI Avata 2 with new 4K/100fps slow motion after firmware update

[16:29 Wed,5.June 2024   by blip]

DJI has released new firmware for its FPV drone Avata 2. The biggest new feature is the extended slow motion capability - 4K can now be recorded at up to 100fps. There are also new connection options to the older partner devices DJI Goggles Integra / Goggles 2 including DJI RC Motion 2 and FPV Remote Controller 2.

Goggles 3, on the other hand, has been updated to be able to display the 4K/100fps of the Avata 2. Another new feature is the D-LOG M Color Assist option (DJI calls it “display color restoration” in its release notes, but this is probably what it means), which is already known from other drones - this allows you to switch between a view of the (recorded) desaturated log image and a preview of the graphed image.
