Meanwhile, the ![]() DJI Mavic 3 Illustration
Photos of the Mavic 3 were not allowed to be published, but at least there are some illustrations (actually photos stylized by filter as drawings), which show how the new drone will look. It is not yet clear whether the new model will actually be christened Mavic 3 or just Pro 3 according to the series logic - DJI had already dropped the "Mavic" from the name of the successor to the Mavic Air 2, the ![]() ![]() ![]() DJI Mavic 3 Illustration The following are the presumed main features of the new Mavic 3.The information is without guarantee, only preliminary and subject to change before market launch. - New anti-collision system - side sensors removed - front and rear sensors moved to corners and apparently large wide-angle sensor - Hasselblad dual camera: upper camera with 7x zoom; lower camera with 5.7K shooting with 24mm f2.8 lens; 16mm adapter lens - Apple ProRes recording support - 1TB of internal storage (2TB may be optional) - Flight time of over 40 minutes - 5000 or 6000mAh Li-ion battery (not sure) - Battery case on the back, like the DJI Mini 2. - The gimbal now has an integrated automatic locking mechanism - Uses the same radio system as the DJI Air 2S - A new smart controller will also be released Despite the design changes, the size remains similar to the Mavic 2. The new Hasselblad dual camera can be clearly seen in the images, which consists of two stacked cameras on the front of the drone, one with 7x zoom (the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom only has 2x), the other (lower) with 5.7K recording and 24mm f.28 wide-angle lens along with adapter for 16mm lenses. ![]() DJI Mavic 3 with Hasselblad dual camera. A new feature for a semi-professional model like the Mavic 3 would be the ability to also record in ProRes - previously this was reserved for DJI&s top-of-the-line Inspire 2. The potentially space-consuming recording in ProRes (it&s not clear with which bitrate) would also explain why the internal memory is supposed to be 1 or optionally 2 TB. The SD card slot is supposed to remain, though. If the rumor is true, there would also be a big battery upgrade: instead of 3,950 mAh like the Mavic 2 Pro, the new battery is supposed to be 5,000 or even 6,000 mAh - allowing for a flight time of over 40 minutes (the video talks about 42 minutes - it&s not clear if in calm or windy conditions) - the Mavic 2 Pro can only stay in the air for 31 minutes under ideal conditions. ![]() DJI Mavic 3 Illustration. In addition, DJI seems to have developed a new anti-collision system and a new large sensor on the top responsible for it which replaces the previously used sensors on the side. The gimbal is said to have a new automatic locking system that locks it automatically when the drone is turned off - so manual intervention would no longer be necessary. ![]() DJI Mavic 3 Illustration. The image transmission system is said to be the same as the ![]() When will the Mavic/ Pro 3 be released? There are apparently two possible release dates: October or January 2022. ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: DJI Mavic 3 Leak: Hasselblad-Doppelkamera mit 7x Zoom, ProRes und 42 Minuten Flugzeit? |
