Wie 
angekündigt hat DJI mit der Mini 2 SE Drohne jetzt ein neues Modell - das billigste in DJIs Drohnen Line-Up - speziell für Anfänger vorgestellt, welche die Mini SE ablöst. Die Mini 2 SE ähnelt im Aussehen und Features stark der Mini 2 - die Funktionen sind allerdings leicht abgespeckt, um den geringeren Preis zu rechtfertigen.
Die kompakte und faltbare Mini 2 SE wiegt weniger als 249 Gramm und ist damit in mehreren Teilen der Welt von Drohnenvorschriften ausgenommen. Sie kann bis zu 31 Minuten in der Luft bleiben und nimmt mittels ihre per verbessertem 3-Achsen-Gimbal stabilisierten Kamera mit 1/2.3" CMOS-Sensor Videos mit 2.7K (statt der 4K der Mini 2) mit einer Bitrate 40 Mbit/s und Fotos mit 12 MP auf - per digitalem 4fach Zoom können (allerdings verlustbehaftet) Bilddetails vergrößert werden, wenn in 1080p aufgenommen wird.
DJI Mini 2 SE
Ein deutliches Upgrade gegenüber dem Vormodell Mini SE hat das Videoübertragungssystem erfahren, welches per Ocusync 2.0 und der neuen RC-N1 Fernsteuerung (die allerdings ein Smartphone benötigt) jetzt unter idealen Verhältnissen die Steuerung aus Entfernungen von bis zu 10 km ermöglicht. Das ist eine große Verbesserung gegenüber den 4 km der Mini SE. Allerdings gilt diese maximale Reichweite wie immer nur in den USA - in Europa wird die Reichweite aufgrund der Nutzung anderer Frequenzen geringer sein und vermutlich wie bei der Mini 2 eher 6 km betragen (DJI hat dazu noch keine expliziten Angaben gemacht).
DJI Mini 2 SE
The resolution of the live video transmission is identical to the Mini 2 and Mini SE at 720p with 30 frames per second, but the bit rate of 4 MB is unfortunately only the same as the Mini SE and not twice as large as the Mini 2. As befits an entry-level model, intelligent functions are also on board to make flying easier - however, obstacle detection is reserved for the more expensive models starting with the Mini3 Pro. This makes it very easy to take off and land, and an automatic return function is also available, as well as recording functions such as QuickShots and Panorama.
DJI Mini 2 SE
The new DJI Mini 2 SE can withstand wind speeds of up to 10.7 m/s (38 km/h) to keep the drone in place - its ascent speed of four meters per second and a top speed of 13 meters per second are the same as the slower Mini SE, rather than the Mini 2 at 5 and 16 meters per second, respectively.

The will be available from March 22 - it&s not yet listed online by DJI. It costs 389 euros in the most basic version (including the RC-N1 remote control), which is 70 euros cheaper than the next model up, the Mini 2. The DJI Mini 2 SE Fly More Combo costs 529 euros, including numerous accessories.
