A new leak has now revealed some of the key technical specifications and major innovations of DJI&s next drone, the DJI Mini 3 Pro, for the first time. This one seems to be mass-produced already, as there are already pictures of the corresponding packaging. ![]() DJI Mini 3 Pro
Above all, four major improvements to the successor of the entry-level model ![]() ![]() There is no information about the image sensor used, including the image processing chip - but presumably this has also been upgraded (in terms of size, resolution and/or bitrate) compared to the 1/2.3" sensor of the Mini 2, which can record a maximum of 4K at 30 fps. Likewise, the 2,453 mAh battery is slightly larger than the Mini 2&s (2,250 mAh) which bodes well for a longer flight time of more than 31 minutes, especially since the rotor boom arms feature the Mavic 3&s newly more aerodynamic design. ![]() DJI Mini 3 Pro In the leaked photos, however, the gimbal appears to be damaged (presumably from a crash) - it&s missing a side mount, so it mistakenly looks like it&s a new type of gimbal mount with only one suspension point. It is suspected that the Mini 3 Pro shown is a crashed model that was lost by the test pilot and found by someone and given to a street vendor. The Mini Pro 3 weighs - like its predecessor - 249 grams and thus falls into the drone class C0 (up to 250g takeoff weight)and can thus be flown in Germany (and many other countries as well) without a driver&s license or registration requirement. It is not yet clear whether there will be a standard model in addition to a Pro model analogous to the two Mavic 3 models - the source of the photos also mentions the rumor that there could be a version with a 1" sensor, but that would probably put the Mini3 Pro too close to the still relatively new and much more expensive ![]() It is also left to speculation whether the Mini 3 will feature further internal improvements, such as the obstacle avoidance system APAS (Advanced Pilot Assistance System), ActiveTrack or the intelligent flight and recording modes, or even the video transmission system OcuSync, which could be updated from version 2.0 of the Mini 2 to the new O3+ system of the ![]() ![]() DJI Mini 3 Pro All of these are features that are integrated into the new Mavic 3 and would therefore theoretically be available - so it&s just a question of how DJI wants to position the new Mini 3 (Pro) in the market and price. For orientation: the Mini 2 currently costs 459 euros, the Air 2 (with 1" sensor with 5.4K, APAS 3.0 and FocusTrack) 849 euros and the top model Mavic 3 around 1,930 or 4,800 euros (Mavic 3 Cine). The answer to all open questions about the DJI Mini 3 Pro will not be long in coming, because the official presentation is expected for the next few weeks still in April - until then, more data will probably be leaked. ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: DJI Mini 3 Pro: Längere Flugzeit sowie bessere Kamera und Hindernisausweichfunktion? |
