There is a steady trend towards software subscriptions: Digital Anarchy is now also offering all of its current plugins in a subscription model - but with the emphasis on also, as they will also continue to be available as permanent licenses. The following plugins are included in the "Anarchy Cloud":
- Beauty Box Photo and Video for retouching, works as digital make-up by integrating state-of-the-art algorithms for face and skin recognition and smoothing
- Flicker Free, removes flicker from a video, e.g. from LEDs
- DataStoryteller, a data visualization plugin set that makes it easy to convert data into animations.
- Samurai Sharpen for the sharpening of video material, with which certain areas of the material can be isolated and only these areas sharpened.
- Light Wrap Fantastic for more seamless green screen/bluescreen composites - the background and foreground can be blended to make it look like the light from the background is affecting the foreground.
Transcriptive + Powersearch for Premiere and Web is also included, but each transcription costs extra (as before).
For 149 dollars per year, these plugins can be used within a selected software host, such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Blackmagic Davinci Resolve, Avid Composer and others. Use on all supported hosts costs 199 dollars per year. The permanent licenses for the tools are between 79 and 199 dollars each.
If you have already purchased plug-ins from Digital Anarchy and would like to switch to a subscription, the first year is discounted to 99 dollars; if the purchase was made less than a year ago, the subscription is initially free and renews on the date of purchase. The existing, unlimited licenses will of course remain valid.
