The full feature set of EDIUS X Pro is now available to hobby users for less than half the full version price. Instead of the regular price of 589 euros, the so-called Home Edition costs only 249 euros, but may not be used commercially in return.

Further restrictions are the limited upgrade capability, because the EDIUS X Pro Home Edition cannot be updated via standard upgrade to version 11, which will be released in the future. The upcoming EDIUS X 10.xx updates, on the other hand, will also be made available for download free of charge to users of the Home Edition. Furthermore, the Home Edition may only be activated on one PC.
EDIUS X Pro Home Edition offers the functionality of the regular full version with all features including the plug-in package from Acon, ProDAD and NewBlue to optimize audio, titling and video effects.
EDIUS X Pro was released in Fall 2020 with a new core and background rendering and has been updated several times since then, currently to v10.32. The editing software supports resolutions up to 8K, the latest recording formats (including ProRes RAW), cameras and codecs natively, and allows mixing of different codecs, frame rates and resolutions in one timeline.
