Soon the editing program Edius will be updated to v9.3, which brings some improvements. Now, slow motion and frame rate conversions of various parameters can be individually adjusted to achieve the best possible results. The Exporter has been extended by some new formats and now offers up to four definable standard defaults, which can also be called by keyboard shortcuts and buttons.
Also new is the GPU acceleration for RED raw decoding, a 50/60p timecode display (from 0 to 49 or 59; only the exact display is new, these frame rates have been supported for some time) and a closed caption display. The subtitles can be faded in and out as required, as they are available as metadata. There are also some additional colors for sequence and clip markers.
The update is available for users free of charge starting from 17.9. in the Download. If you buy Edius before the end of the year, you will get the software ProDAD Vitascene V3 LE (worth 199 Euro) for free.
