On the occasion of the Corona crisis, Grass Valley also offers a very special offer to enable users to work from their home office: for example (for the time being until June 30, 2020) commercial customers (such as radio stations, companies and institutions), who already use EDIUS Workgroup at a company location, have the possibility to apply for free temporary licenses for EDIUS Workgroup for employees, who have to work temporarily from home due to Corona restrictions. The STRATUS option is also provided for broadcast customers who work with GV STRATUS.
Edius Workgroup allows working from the home office via the network - material can be searched, streamed and viewed and edited in reduced resolution. Compared to Edius Pro 9, the Workgroup version has an extended range of functions especially for professional users in the broadcast sector and offers, for example, a connection to the Grass Valley STRATUS video production and content management system as well as direct work on the Grass Valley K2 SAN system.
In addition, further networked solutions such as various MAM (Media Asset Management) systems are supported.
