The interfaces of the Eizo Coloredge Prominence CG3146 now include BNC (12G/6G/3G/HD-SDI), 3 x BNC (3G/HD-SDI), a DisplayPort and HDMI inputs as well as loop-through outputs for all BNC ports. The CG3146 also offers a USB 3.1 Gen1 hub with three ports. The monitor&s HDMI and DisplayPort inputs support DCI 4K at 60p, 12-bit 4:2:2 HDMI input at 50/60p, and DisplayPort input up to 10-bit 4:4:4 at 50/60p. ![]() Eizo Coloredge Prominence CG3146 The built-in colorimeter - the world&s first in a 4K HDR reference monitor, according to Eizo - gave the CG3145 the ability to display accurate colors at all times through color calibration by Eizo&s ColorNavigator 7 software. The results of the calibration are stored directly on the monitor. Two gamma curves are used for HDR display, namely HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) and PQ (Perceptual Quantization). HLG is optimized for live TV broadcasting and the PQ curve corresponds to the human perception of color and brightness. More features: Color Presets (BT.2020, BT.709, DCI-P3, PQ_BT.2100, PQ_DCI-P3, HLG_BT.2100, Calibration and SYNC_SIGNAL), Luminance Warning, 4K Zoom and BT.709 Out of Gamut Warning. Eizo does not display HDR by means of Local Dimming (i.e. different brightness fields of the backlight) or Auto Brightness Limiter (often used in OLED monitors), but uses a special two-layer LCD panel which can effectively darken the background light even at high luminance and thus display high contrasts. The Eizo Coloredge Prominence CG3146 should be available from April 2020, the price is not yet known - the predecessor model CG3145 at any rate started at around 40,000 euros. Included is a light screen. Bild zur Newsmeldung:
