Eizo has introduced the new 27-inch FlexScan EV2760 with WQHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440) with extra-thin edges (only 1mm on three sides), a feature that makes it ideal for multi-monitor setups. It was designed for normal office applications, not for professional work with photo and video, which is reflected in its relatively low price. Thus, it is rather suitable for work where the color space range and color accuracy is not very important.
Its 8-bit IPS panel covers the sRGB color space, has a brightness of 350 nits, a 10-bit LUT and a contrast ratio of 1,000:1 - the image reproduction should be flicker-free with the help of the hybrid control for the image brightness. White points can be adjusted loss-free from 4,000 to 10,000 Kelvin (K) in 500 K steps.

It offers two DisplayPort as well as one HDMI and one DVI-D signal input and four USB 3.1 Gen1 downstream ports. The Eizo FlexScan EV2760 automatically adjusts to the brightness of the environment via Auto-EcoView function, thus saving power in rather darker light situations. Its ergonomic features include TÜV Rhineland-certified blue light filtering and flicker-free technology to protect the eyes even when working in front of the monitor for long periods.
Eizo offers a 5-year warranty with on-site replacement service for the FlexScan EV2760 - it will be launched in April in the case colours black and white and will cost 618 Euros.
