For December FUJIFILM announces the firmware update which will give the X-T3 the already teased HLG capability. However, Hybrid Log Gamma is only supported for (4K) recording with H.265(HEVC) compression.
But the Ver. 2.00 will also bring some more news for videographers. The video files will no longer be split automatically when the 4GB limit is reached, provided that the SD card used is larger than 32GB. In DCI4K/4K 29.97P/25P/24P/23.98P you can film at shutter speeds longer than the refresh rate, and in H.264 you can select ALL-Intra at the maximum data rate (400Mbps). In addition, it will be possible to preview a movie simulation while recording with F-Log.
Also for the X-H1 there will be an update to Ver. 2.00; it is supposed to improve the image stabilization by the interaction of the optical stabilization in the lens with the 5-axis stabilization via the camera sensor newly regulated. At the end of November the GFX 50S will be updated to Ver. 3.30 with some minor new features.
