Facebook has announced new live streaming functionality to help people make money during the Corona lockdown. Soon, users will be able to host an online Facebook event, which will then take place via live video on Facebook and will only be accessible for a fee - for example, artists could give virtual concerts, stand-up comedians perform or teachers could offer online paid fitness/cooking/language courses on Facebook. ![]()
Such a virtual event and its revenue stream on Facebook would be more likely to be easier to handle for many interested parties than one of the many self-made solutions using various other tools (although, unlike e.g. video conferencing solutions, the feedback channel for student feedback would be missing in courses). A Facebook event would of course also have the advantage of a wide reach over the social network itself, especially since Facebook will implement a function to invite others to join your stream. Non-profit organizations will have the opportunity to collect funds live during such an event via a special button. ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: Facebook: Bald können User Geld verdienen mit Live-Streaming Events |
