FeiyuTech has introduced two new single-handed 3-axis gimbals, the A1000 and A2000 (the number designates the maximum carrying weight, i. e. 1kg or 2kg), which themselves weigh only around 1kg each (the A1000 around 900g, the larger A2000 1.1kg). FeiyuTech claims that the new Alpha series is the world's "most compact, lightest and slimmest gimbals". The gimbals are movable in three axes, each with full 360° movement.
The handle has three buttons (menu, shutter and trigger) to control the functions of the Gimbal and a mini joystick. The weight of the camera used with the gimbal is automatically detected and adjusts the gimbal without any further manual adjustments. The two gimbals can be used with small cameras (minimum weight is 150g) from the smartphone, actioncam to DSLRs and small camcorders.

The two 18650 lithium-ion batteries will be charged for a maximum of 12 hours of operation. A 360° auto rotation can also be activated via App, e. g. for time-lap recordings. The optimized anti-shake algorithm is designed to provide improved stabilization. The motor responsible for the rolling movement is tilted at an angle of 45° to avoid obstructing the view of the display.
The two aluminium gimbals are also available in a more expensive two-hand version - the FeiyuTech A2000 costs around 670 euros (or 900 euros for the double-handed version) and the A1000 around 420 euros (or 240 euros extra for the two-handed bracket).
