Filming - no: Photographing like Wes Anderson on (affordable) Kodak Vision3 film stock.

We had already reported here on slashCAM about an exciting Behind The Scenes of Wes Anderson&s Asteroid City and the topic of shooting on negative film. If you want to try your hand at the "film look" yourself with the same cinema film material, you will now find more and more offers of Kodak Vision3 negative material rewound onto 35mm 35mm film cartridges with 36 exposures that can be loaded into an analogue camera (mostly without DX encoding).

The highlight here is that the Kodak Vision3 rewinds are quite inexpensive at under 10 euros per cartridge - especially when compared to other negative films that are still available. So if you still have an analogue camera lying around at home and want to get carried away by the current analogue film look euphoria, you should enter Kodak Vision3 on eBay ...
