FireStore FS-4: capture directly to disk

The Company Focus Enhancements has released a new version of FS-4 (Pro) by FireStore presented an external direct-to-disk capture solution that enables the camcorder directly to a mobile HDD and then the video data via FireWire (Ggegensatz to normal in capturing from the camcorder in many real-time speed) on the computer to copy it. By default, the FS-4 with a 40 GB hard drive, that the 3 hours of DV video fit the Pro version is also available with a 80 GB disk (6 hours Capacity) format. Should that still not enough, the two can connect FireStore and thus up to 12 hours continuous recording. Files can be used as RawDV, AVI Type 1, AVI Type 2, AVI Type 2 24p, Matrox AVI, Canopus AVI, QuickTime or QuickTime 24p Date , the Pro version also supports MXF, Pinnacle AVI and Avid DV OMF files.
