As promised, Atomos on-camera monitor/recorders/transmitters (Ninja TX) and (Ninja TX GO) are getting camera control functions and Touch-to-Focus via a free firmware update. Supported cameras (from Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, Sony, and Z CAM, among others) can then be operated directly via the Atomos touchscreen thanks to the new AtomOS 2.2.0. The cameras are connected to the Ninja TX (GO) via USB-C. ![]() Atomos Ninja TX / TX GO Camera ControlThe Atomos Ninja TX / TX GO function as a remote control interface for central camera parameters. From the Atomos interface, users can start/stop recording, and change ISO/gain, shutter speed, aperture, and frame rate—depending on the camera model. This moves a portion of the camera menus from the camera display to the larger and brighter 5" screen of the Ninja TX (GO), simplifying operation in rig-heavy setups or when the camera position is difficult to access. Touch-to-Focus on the MonitorAlso new is the ability to set the camera&s focus point by tapping the Atomos display. The touch command is passed to the camera, which—if supported—moves the AF point there. ![]() Atomos Ninja TX The new firmware for the Ninja TX (GO) is available immediately and free of charge. Detailed camera compatibility and feature sets per model can be viewed on the (Atomos compatibility page). deutsche Version dieser Seite: Atomos Ninja TX / TX GO bekommen Kamerasteuerung und Touch-to-Focus |
