There is actually no shortage of fast Super35 lenses - now three new Mitakon Speedmaster T1.0 cine lenses are coming onto the market. The three manual fixed focal lengths 20mm, 35mm, 50mm cover an APS-C/Super35 light circle and are available for Sony E, Nikon Z, Fuji X as well as Canon RF; the latter mount is also known to be used by newer RED cameras.

The three optics have a uniform exterior with a 93mm length and an 88mm diameter (filter diameter 77mm), which means the lens rings (with gear rings) are in the same position. However, there are significant differences in weight - the 35mm weighs 640g, while the 50mm weighs 820g. When using a gimbal, it may be necessary to re-tare after a change.
All three Mitakon Speedmasters feature a 9-lens aperture and a long focus travel of 270°. According to manufacturer Zhong Yi, focus breathing turns out to be low, and hints of "vintage vibes" can be found in the color characteristics.
The Mitakon Speedmaster 20mm, 35mm, 50mm T1.0 S35 set of three costs 1,299 and is said to be available now. (A corresponding set for MFT has been available for some time).
