Newtek is making its iOS apps NDI HX Capture and ;) iPhone with NDI HX Camera App
Using the smartphone as a webcam is an obvious and simple solution in times of scarcity of webcams due to high demand. The apps usually cost or and can be used free of charge until June 2nd. NDI (Network Device Interface) is the standard developed by Newtek for transmitting video in real time over existing networks. ;) NDI HX Camera Workflow Via the (also) free  NDI Tools (macOS/Windows) the video stream of the NDI iOS apps from the iPhone can then be made available on the computer via WiFi. The video can then be used via NDI Virtual Input as an audio/video source in other applications, such as the popular open source streaming program OBS Studio (Windows/macOS), and then streamed to portals such as YouTube or Facebook. Or the input of the iPhone is used as a webcam replacement for video chatting or conferencing via Google Hangouts, GoToMeeting, Skype or Zoom.
