Friday, August 29, 3:00 PM Getting Started with DaVinci Resolve: Part 2 The follow-up session will show how to adjust audio and add animated titles. It also covers the basics of color correction and output for multiple formats and platforms. ;) Blackmagic Resolve Thursday, September 4, 3:00 PM Blackmagic Cloud: Collaborative Workflows The next part, which shows workflows with the Blackmagic Cloud, is aimed more at experienced users. It enables users in different locations to work together on DaVinci Resolve projects. It also demonstrates how to work with proxy media. Friday, September 5, 3:00 PM Color Management and Monitoring The last part clarifies terms such as ACES, DRT, EOTF or HDR and shows the color management workflow from recording to grading and monitoring. As these are live sessions, you can also ask the respective speaker questions via chat. The workshop topics revolve around practical ways of working in DaVinci Resolve – for example, there are insights into documentary film workflows, professional color grading using the example of a car commercial and advanced color matching. For Fusion fans, it&s all about superhero VFX, 3D design, creating your own tools and templates, and a checklist for professional compositing. Resolve Manual, Beginner&s Guide, Videos and BooksThe current webinars complement the numerous free resources for getting to know DaVinci Resolve for the first time or in more depth, such as the 4,234-page DaVinci Resolve 20 Manual or – especially for beginners – the English-language Beginner´s Guide To DaVinci Resolve 19, a 684-page PDF including accompanying training material. It is aimed at both new and existing users and introduces the operation of the various Resolve workspaces (Media/Edit/Cut/Fusion/Color/Fairlight/Deliver) using project-based workflows based on demo projects. ;) Blackmagic Resolve Traingingsvideo In addition, Blackmagic provides a whole range of exercise books and training videos free of charge (some also in German), which help both beginners and professionals to work with the diverse functions of Resolve. The topics of the videos cover all components of Resolve, i.e. editing, color correction, audio editing and compositing.
