The RØDE Connect Update 1.1 brings a number of new features, including: - An updated "Sound Pads" section with 3 playback styles: Toggle, Hold and One-Shot - A new curse button as well as a &trash talk& mode - Solo buttons for each channel According to RØDE, version 1.1 of Connect is just the first in a series of updates to come. RØDE ConnectRØDE Connect is effectively a virtual version of RØDE&s all-in-one hardware audio production tool for podcasts RØDECaster Pro, which costs around 500 euros and can record audio via its 4 XLR inputs either to micro-SD cards or via USB to an external computer. That&s why RØDE Connect&s onscreen user interface is also based on its interface and, like it, offers four microphone channels with long sliders, level meters, mute buttons and more.  RØDE Connect There&s also a virtual channel and a system channel for bringing in external guests via apps like Zoom or Google Hangouts, respectively, music tracks, pre-produced posts and jingles. All inputs are automatically assigned the mix-minus circuit, which prevents the echoes that can occur during telephone interviews. In addition, RØDE Connect provides dedicated output controls for streaming software such as OBS and XSplit. Via RØDE Connect, NT-USB Mini Microphones can be upgraded via firmware update to include a switchable NoiseGate, a compressor port and Aphex sound processing. In addition, the built-in - but previously non-functional - DSP in each NT-USB Mini can now be unlocked via the RØDE Connect software.
