Fujifilm announces X-T200 with 4K-video as well as prime lens FUJINON XC35mmF2

The newly introduced, mirrorless system camera X-T200 apparently equips Fujifilm with the same 24.2MP APS-C sensor that also works in the X-A7. It offers more phase detection pixels and thus an improved autofocus, as well as faster readout than the previous model. In addition, it is now possible to film in 4K/UHD with 29.97p / 25p / 24p / 23.98p, while the X-T100 only managed this with 15fps. As with the X-A7, however, the recording time in 4K mode is limited to 15 minutes. In FullHD (up to 60fps), a maximum of 29min can be recorded at a time.

In video mode, electronic image stabilization, which uses gyro data, is available. An HDR video function is also available, but F-LOG recording is not.

An 8.9 cm (3.5 inch), rotatable and tiltable touch screen in 16:9 format is on board for the picture preview, but there is also an OLED colour viewfinder with approx. 2,360,000 pixels. It is operated via the touch display or via smartphone. A microphone can be connected via a 3.5mm input. Lenses are attached as before via the X-bayonet. With a weight of 370 grams, the camera is significantly lighter than the previous model.

The Fujifilm X-T200 is expected to be available in a kit with the XC15-45mmF3.5-5.6 OIS PZ from the end of February 2020 for 849 euros.

The new compact fixed focal length FUJINON XC35mmF2 will also be launched at the end of February. The lens offers a focal length of 52mm in KB equivalent and weighs a mere 130 grams with an overall length of 46.5 millimetres. The optical construction comprises nine elements in six groups, including two aspherical lenses. It will cost 199 euros.
