GoPro provides the small firmware update v1.2 for the HERO10 Black. This allows video recording at 24 frames per second in 5.3K, 5K, 4K and 1080p modes.
In addition, the update allows the camera to support the use of the Max Lens Mod, and also in 2.7K 4:3 mode (in addition to 16:9) -- the Lens Mod offers a 155° viewing angle as an optional accessory, and brings its own "Max HyperSmooth" video stabilization tailored to the "Max SuperView" field of view. Also new is the ability to use the SuperView angle of view in 5.3K60 mode (the FOV setting is now referred to as GoPro's "digital lens").
The firmware can be installed on the Hero Black 10 via the GoPro Quik app.
