Towards the end of September a new GoPro Hero will be presented as in the last years -- who already lies awake at night and puzzles what improvements the new Actioncam will bring with it, should refer to a current rumour. According to PhotoRumors the Hero 8 should have an updated processor (GP2) and be able to record 4K with up to 120fps. Also the frame rate in FullHD should double (to 480fps).
A different optic should also be installed. What is particularly noticeable on the leaked pictures, however, is the accessory extension, which a new case seems to bring: a hot shoe can be seen there, over which a light or an additional display can be attached, furthermore there is a much larger microphone at a corner.

The Hero 8 should look like this according to PhotoRumors
The pictures look quite authentic -- but whether they are really real can't be said. From a financial point of view it would of course be a sensible step for GoPro to offer further optional accessories.
By the way, a new camera called
GoPro Max will be launched as a replacement for the Fusion 360.
