Today, GoPro is presenting the two previously leaked Hero action cams - a Hero13 Black and a new tiny and simply named Hero 4K camera. New accessories such as a magnetic mount and trendy lens mods, including an anamorphic and a macro lens, will also be released. However, these add-ons are only compatible with the new Hero13 - probably as an incentive to buy an otherwise rather moderately updated camera. GoPro Hero13 Black and new Hero GoPro Hero13 Black The latest generation 13 of the Hero Black action cam may look a little different from the outside, but it has largely the same core specifications as its predecessor. Only the slo-mo capabilities have been improved, as videos can now also be created in 5.3K at 120fps - previously this was only possible in 4K. In 720p you can film at 400fps, in 900p at 360fps. Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) has also been introduced and enables recordings in 10-bit and Rec. 2100 color space. GoPro Hero13 Black with HB-Series Lens Mods The Enduro battery added with the last update now offers 10% more capacity at 1,900 mAh and, according to GoPro, also better energy efficiency, which enables longer recording times, allegedly up to 1.5 hours in high resolutions. If this is not enough, a kit with Contacto magnetic flap and power cable (optionally available for 89.99 euros) can be used to connect the GoPro quickly, easily and weatherproof to an external power source. The cable is attached to a side flap specially developed for the HERO13 Black using a magnetic connection. GPS is once again on board the Hero13. The new, faster WLAN 6 technology is said to provide up to 40% faster transfer rates. The audio tuning is said to be more customizable, allowing you to choose between “balanced” sound or a voice priority, which should reproduce voices more clearly. New for the Hero13 is another mount option with magnetic locking (€29.99), also available as a ball joint mount (€44.99). They are compatible with all current GoPro mounts. The camera is attached using a quick double lock that simply needs to be squeezed to release the camera when the mount needs to be changed or the camera needs to be rotated 180°. The GoPro Hero13 Black costs 449.99 euros and will be available from September 10. New lens mods - anamorphic and macro GoPro has been offering its own clip-on lenses, known as lens mods, for its action cams for several years. Users of the HERO13 Black can now expand their camera with new, special clip-on lenses from the HB series (HB stands for “HERO Black”). The lenses are recognized by the camera when they are attached and the ideal settings for lens type and environment are then automatically selected. Hero13 with Lens Mod Anamorphic - The Lens Mod Anamorph (139.99 euros) transforms ultra-wide-angle shots into a 21:9 cinema screen format. Lens flare effects are intended to give the images a special touch. The “distortion correction” takes place in the camera so that recording, playing back and editing anamorphic content should be uncomplicated. - The Lens Mod Ultrawide (109.99 euros) captures a 177° field of view with a new 1:1 image format. The extended field of view makes it possible to crop images to 16:9 widescreen or 9:16 portrait format afterwards - regardless of the camera&s orientation. - The Lens Mod Macro (139.99 euros) makes it possible to get up to 4x closer to the subject than with a standard GoPro lens. Thanks to the rotating lens ring, the focus can be adjusted manually at a minimum distance of 11 cm. Lens Mod Macro - A 4-pack of ND filters (79.99 euros) is also now available. If one of the filters (ND4, ND8, ND16 and ND32) is attached to the HERO13 Black, the camera automatically switches to “Cinema (Auto)” video mode and selects the optimum settings depending on the environment. According to GoPro, the four HB-Series lenses are the only lenses that are compatible with the patented HyperSmooth stabilization. They are waterproof and scratch-resistant and have a hydrophobic coating. As already mentioned, they can only be used on the Hero13. GoPro Hero A brand new, shrunken action cam with reduced capabilities is now available on the market - Hero. Weighing only 86 grams, the camera measures 47.7 x 56.6 x 29.4 mm and films in max 4K 16:9 @30/25 fps, in 2.7K 60/50 fps are possible. The maximum data rate is 50 MBit/s. HDR or significant slow motion modes are missing, HyperSmooth video stabilization can be added later in the GoPro Quik app. There is a small 1.76” touch display on the back of the camera housing and recording is done on microSD. The battery is permanently installed. The Hero is waterproof to a depth of 5m. The small GoPro Hero will be available from September 22 for around 230 euros. more infos at bei gopro.com deutsche Version dieser Seite: GoPro Hero13 Black sowie 86g leichte Hero Mini-Actioncam vorgestellt |
