GoPro&s annual action cam product launch is fast approaching - the traditional time is mid-September. Some news has now been accidentally released prematurely on Amazon, which has led to a lot of images and information being leaked (the pages are currently no longer online). This means that not just one, but two new cameras will be released soon. ![]() Leaked image of the Hero 13 Black ![]() As expected, a Hero 13 Black is to be released, but nothing is yet known about this camera itself. However, it will come with a new, optional Lens Mod as an accessory - the Macro Lens Mod (AAEWAL-021) is designed to allow subjects that are close to the camera to be captured in focus (up to 3x closer than before). As with the Hero 12, there is also an Ultra Wide Lens Mod (AAEWAL-021) with a 177° angle of view.
It seems that GoPro is also trying its hand at an additional, smaller version of the Hero. This is simply called the Hero and is said to be waterproof to a depth of 5m. It films in 4K and, like its big sister, has HyperSmooth stabilization on board. ![]() According to the brief description on Amazon, this new Hero is supposed to be the smallest 4K-capable GoPro - so it should be even smaller than the Hero 11 Mini, which is already pretty tiny at 52.4 x 51.2 x 38 mm. Based on the pictures, this seems unlikely at first; the official launch will bring certainty in this regard. ![]() Unlike the Hero 11 Mini and the Session (which was discontinued in 2018), the new Hero even has an integrated rear display for previews. As an optional accessory, the small newcomer optionally comes with a small floaty cage to prevent the camera from sinking during water sports activities. ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: GoPro bringt bald zwei neue Hero-Actioncams - und Makro-Mod |
