In other business areas, Software as a Service has already become established in many places. This means that software is used as a service via the Internet instead of installing it on a local computer and managing it yourself. However, this is not yet very common in video editing because you first have to upload your usually quite extensive media files to the cloud for editing - which is both questionable and impractical for many users. However, the situation is different with special effects that are only a few seconds long. Here, upload and download are usually tolerably fast, which is why a corresponding AI cloud functionality can already be found in common editing programs. Adobe&s "Generative Expand" (www.slashcam.de/artikel/Praxis/-Generatives-Erweitern--in-Adobe-Premiere-Pro---wie-man-fehlende-Frames-herbeizaubern-kann--alles-.html) is based on this approach, for example. In many cases, video models from different manufacturers can also be used alternatively in the editing program for your own purposes. However, users still need to get used to paying for these effects. As a rule, billing is done via AI credits, which are usually purchased as a monthly quota. Which is incomprehensibly much more impractical than an exact individual billing, but that is another topic. The topic is, however, that you are of course not bound to an editing program at all - even if direct integration is of course practical. Because more and more providers are appearing on the net who offer AI video effects as a service. One such provider is Higgsfield.ai, which offers AI effects "off the rack" on its website, so to speak. Only a start frame serves as an upload, an end frame can be specified optionally. Then you choose a desired effect from numerous effects and add a prompt that describes what should happen. The list of generative effects is already impressive and is constantly being expanded. Terms such as "Turning Metal + Melting", "Face Punch" or "Building Explosion" are self-explanatory, but the effects can be searched even more purposefully using visual loops (higgsfield.ai/collection/effects). If you look at the effects created, you quickly realize that you can achieve amazing results here without much prior knowledge: Unfortunately, it is also foreseeable that you will soon no longer impress anyone with such effects as soon as every child can create them in the browser for a few cents. ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: Higgsfield.ai - Aufwändige Videoeffekte auf Knopfdruck aus der KI-Cloud |
